I thought I would publish a few more photos of the Wilson’s Snipe that we saw during the Stanley Park Ecology Society monthly bird count last Sunday. And as I mentioned in my previous post, this bird happens to be a new species for my life list. Thanks again to SPES and its Conservation Officer, Robin Worcester, for a great field trip! The other bonus bird for me (so to speak) was this white-morph juvenile Snow Goose, which I spotted early in the morning, but was no longer around when the group came back to do the official bird counting:
