Barrow’s Goldeneye pair foraging for food

This Barrow’s Goldeneye pair is busily foraging for food along the northern edge of Stanley Park’s Seawall. I really like the pattern and colouring of the male, especially that white tear drop/crescent moon under its eye. Taken on November 23, 2014 with a handheld Nikon D5200 and AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED (ISO 800, 300mm, f/5.6, 1/500). Not baited, called in or set up.
