… with a couple of photos of the locally rare Palm Warbler, wearing its “confusing fall warbler” suit (with a nod to Roger Tory Peterson). Seen this morning (October 17, 2015) between Harbourside Place (at the foot of Fell Avenue) and the Spirit Trail in North Vancouver, BC, Canada.
I published the photo below in spite of its obvious flaws to show the yellow undertail coverts, which made me take a second look at this otherwise nondescript bird. Taken with a handheld Nikon D5200 and AF-S Zoom-Nikkor 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6G IF-ED. Not baited, called in or set up.
